Si svolgerà il 20 e 21 novembre, presso la (Piazza S. Paolo all’Orto, 20), l’International Workshop dal titolo: Democracy in the Real World:
Epistemic Challenges & Behavioral Insights.
The conference explores the relationship between political philosophy, behavioral sciences, and non-ideal epistemology, focusing on how real cognitive and psychological limitations shape democratic practices. Addressing the gap between idealized normative theories and empirical evidence on human behavior, it aims to foster interdisciplinary dialogue among philosophy, economics, behavioral research, and cognitive science. The goal is to examine the epistemic and cognitive challenges facing contemporary democracies and to identify practical strategies—such as nudging—to enhance deliberative quality and public rationality.
