Lectures are mainly conducted at Museo Celano Paludi. This is an archaeology museum in Celano, Province of L’Aquila (Abruzzo). The museum was built a few years after the discovery of a pile-dwelling village built on the banks of the Fucino lake.
Lectures will be conduct by professor, reserchers and professionists coming from different Italian Universities (Università di Pisa, Università di Foggia, Università dell’Aquila, Università di Roma) and various researcher organization ( CNR-Pisa, INGV –Roma, Coop.Limes-Avezzano).
The purpose of the lectures is to develop Knowledge about Archaeology with special focus on the period between Prehistory and Roman empire.
Lectures will focus on:
-Prehistory and Protohistory (the evolution of human species, Neolithic of Italy, etc..)
– The Roman empire (The roman colonization of central Italy, The roman territorial and administrative organization, etc…)
– Experimental archaeology
